Morgan Ellis & Skylar Peters Place at State

Senior Morgan Ellis (130lbs) completed her high school career with a 2nd place finish at the OSAA State Wrestling Championships. Ellis defeated Echo/Stanfield’s, Kaitlyn Lemmon by fall and Bend’s, Kyleigh Cuevas by fall to reach the finals. In the championship match, Morgan lost 9-1 to Eagle Point’s Shayla McNulty. Eight Wrestlers Advance to State Tournament

Eight Billies wrestlers will compete for Oregon 3A titles at the OSAA Championships this Friday and Saturday. The state tournament will be held at Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Portland. Ruchti Qualifies for Nationals

Congratulations to 9th grader Asher Ruchti who qualified to represent the Oregon National Cadets Wrestling Team at Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota this July. Asher placed 3rd at the State Greco/Freestyle tournament this weekend to qualify. Asher has started his high school wrestling career with tremendous success having placed 4th in the 126lb. class at the 3A
