Angeni Yeo and the Pleasant Hill Billies battled past the Eagles on Monday night, 52-45. The game was hard fought and close the entire way. The Billies took an early 16-13 lead in the first quarter, but Santiam Christian was able to battle back and take a one point lead going into the half. Yeo had a big third quarter, posting 11 of her game high 27 points in that quarter, but the Eagles were able to stay with the Billies and the quarter ended even, 37-37. The Billies were eventually able to take the lead and keep it during the 4th quarter, pulling ahead as Santiam Christian was forced to foul to stop the clock. This win places the Billies on top of the league standings with a record of 6-1 (14-3 overall). The Billies are back in action on Wednesday 2/5 at 6PM in La Pine.
