After a slow start to the game, the Billies came from behind to win 38-31 over the Santiam Christian Eagles on Tuesday. Falling behind 16-7 in the first quarter, the Billies relied on a strong defensive performance to get within one point of the Eagles going into half time. The Billies kept the defensive pressure on in the 3rd quarter only allowing the Ealges 5 points. Hannah Way lead the comeback with 12 points, 5 of them being big offensive put-backs in the 3rd quarter. Angeni Yeo added 11 points for the Billies, and Kaylee Martin contributed with amazing defense, holding the Eagles leading scorer to just two scores in the second half. The Billies take on La Pine on Friday at home at 7:30.
